This is a Fabelbird..... I have many of these little flying fabulistic birds on the boat, in all the colours of the rainbow. I got them donated from the magic shop Tante Bets in Enkhuizen, the village where I studied for captain. The birds are made by Ina. Everybody who gives me a miraculous story gets a fabelbird in return to remind them of the voyage their story will make...... lovely little flying fabelbirds.... and once in a while I'll leave one behind on a very special place. This bird is now living in a tree next to a temple somewhere in Belgium...maybe one day someone will find her....
